I make Cinnamon Iced Coffee every year for my mother's birth day brunch. Everyone loves it and smells so great! I love the mix of every thing that is in it is fantastic!! You can add a little more cinnamon if you like it, and it is great and simple to prepare.
Cinnamon Iced Coffee is a really YUMMY treat on a humid day. It is a little different than the normal iced coffee and it will be much cheaper to make too.
A truly tasty cinnamon iced coffee which I know you will enjoy even more in summer. Just loved the cinnamon in this. You can try this with different flavored coffee blends.
- 4 c Strong coffee (use 2 to 4 teaspoons instant to 1 c Boiling water)
- 1 3" stick cinnamon, broken in pieces
- 1/2 c Heavy cream
- Coffee syrup
- Pour hot coffee over cinnamon pieces; cover and let stand about 1 hour.
- Remove cinnamon and stir in cream.
- Chill thoroughly.
- To serve, pour into ice-filled glasses.
- Stir in desired amount of Coffee Syrup.
- If desired, top with sweetened whipped cream and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
- Use cinnamon sticks and stirrers.
