My Kind Of Latte Coffee

As soon as you rise and shine early in the morning, what is the first thing that pops into your head? all right, after you've gone to the bathroom. For a lot of of us it's a pleasant fresh cup of coffee. Ah yes, you can odor that aroma as it lures you to the kitchen. Or in point of fact to the drive-thru would be more accurate in this day and age. Every man and woman across the nation is longing for that tasty latte coffee. A new era in java is surely in full swing these days. Even if I watched my parents resort to a drip coffee pot the entire time I grew up, an espresso machine is what rests on my kitchen counter. This way each and every morning and afternoon I can kick back and relax with an iced vanilla latte coffee. Yep, that's my favorite. Don't we all have that perfect caffeinated beverage that we crave on a day by day basis? What's your favorite latte coffee?

Learning is a nonstop process and you can never claim that you all worth knowing about any subject matter and I think that you must have realized this when you have started reading this piece of writing on the many facets of latte coffee.

How often do you hit up the neighboring drive-thru coffee house? Do you find yourself passing through their line around one or two times a day? Wow, think of all the money they make off of you alone. Now I'm not saying that you should all of a sudden stifle your desire for coffee and never enjoy a fresh latte coffee again for the rest of your days. Nevertheless, I am asking you to reflect on how much you spend on fancy coffee drinks. Let's think about this for a minute. Most latte coffees run between 3 to 5 dollars a pop, therefore you're spending at least 3 bucks a day; more if you're going back for seconds. Now, that's at least 20 bucks a week, which turns out to be 80 dollars a month. So, have you figured out your yearly latte coffee bill yet? It's a lot, huh? Well, don't get all bent out of shape about it and march down to the local coffee dive and demand all your money back. Maybe it's time you prepared your own latte coffees in the privacy of your own home. There are a plethora of espresso machines on the market these days.

Having a cup of coffee everyday can be beneficial for one's health. It doesn’t matter if it is served hot or cold since it contains the same amount of caffeine when made at the café or produced at home.

Studies have pointed out that there are many Americans now who are overweight. Those who have this problem are at risk for Type 2 diabetes. A study by researchers at Harvard shows that consuming more than 6 cups a day can lower the chances by more than 54%. This may further increase by combining this with an exercise and a weight loss program.

There are also some new studies suggesting that coffee drinking may not lead to people suffering from high blood pressure over time. Although some studies have also shown that coffee may increase blood pressure in people already suffering from the common ailment, it hasn't been exactly pinpointed as the cause of the development of high blood pressure in people with normal blood pressure. At this point, the influence of coffee in the cardiovascular effects in the body may require some more intensive study and research.


Research has also proven that coffee contains certain antioxidants that may be beneficial for the body. It can help people who are depressed by sending signals to the brain that will make them feel good just like eating a bar of chocolate, gum or ice cream.


People know that coffee can help make them mentally alert. If this is consumed moderately, it is possible to stop a headache, make one feel good and even prevent cavities, which just goes to show that the individual has to do more than just brushing and flossing to take care of the teeth.


Coffee may help in increasing mental alertness as well as prolong ones waking hours. Drinking coffee may also help in improving short-term memory. Some substances in coffee may also help increase the effectiveness of certain migraine medication. 

A word of warning though for those who take in decaffeinated coffee. Studies have shown this can increase the LDL, which is better known as bad cholesterol in the body. This means sticking with the caffeinated version is much safer for those who want to drink a cup. 

Other studies are currently being done to discover if coffee has other health benefits. Who knows? There may come a time that the plant itself can be effective in curing other diseases instead of getting it in its final product, which is either in brewed or bean form.
